[News] Yoona wins 2008 KBS New Actress and Netizens Awards

On Dec 31st at 2008 KBS Drama awards , Yoona received the honor of New Actress Award.

Yoona sai "I would like to thank the director and all the staff. I will continue to do my best. I would also like to thank all the family at SM."


As member of group SNSD, Yoona starred as the main character of “You are my destiny”. As her first starring role, there were worries of her acting skill but as time passed she proved herself as a dependable actor.

Kang JiHwan and Yoona have won the Netizen Awards at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards.

Kang JiHwan starred in "KwaeDo HongGilDong" and was also busy shooting the film "Movies are movies"

Already having won the New Actress Award for “You are my destiny”, Yoona said “I have much to improve as an actress and it’s a great honor to receive this big award. I will do my best to try to become a better actress”
