SNSD's Gee is the first song to make it to the top 10 on Melon's music chart after a day. The previous record holder for highest position song was Big Bang's Haru Haru at 21st place. For reference Lee Hyori's U-Go-Girl started off at 40th place. Wonder Girl's So Hot started off at 24th place and Nobody started off as 32nd.
