Girls' Generation / SNSD's new jingle Gee is a huge hit in Korea. Gee has already hit the Number 1 spot on 6 music charts. Gee reached number 1 on Melon, Korea's biggest music portal after being number 10 yesterday.
The other 5 music charts where Gee hit number 1 are: Doshirak, Mnet, Cyworld, Muz, and Bugs. Girls' Generation / SNSD has reached a new milestone and have joined the ranks of the upper echelon in KPOP.
There are rumors that SNSD will be absent from this weeks Music Bank, but because of their early success they still have the possibility of being number one. Though I doubt they would give them Number 1 if they were no-show's. Gee is also on pace to set the highest first day sales for a KPOP female artist.
