SM Entertainment has reported that Girls' Generation's "Gee" mini-album has sold approximately 65,000 copies in just 13 days since it's release. In addition, they have also moved approximately 4,000 copies of their first album.
An Entertainment analyst stated:
The girls have picked up a lot of new fans during their 9 month hiatus. Girls' Generation is no longer just an idol band, but a top Korean band with mass appeal. The Girls' Generation brand can no longer be considered just a trend, instead they are permanent and have established a sense of long lasting value for consumers.・.。credits: AllKPop & SMTOWN LOVER @Blogspot。.・
