[Misc/Streaming Audio] Gee audio preview & pre-order!

As you know, I've posted some info about SNSD upcoming release in January 9th, 2009.
Their 1st mini-album, Gee, has some pre-release posters for promoting.
And then, SM Entertainment has released the 5 second preview of Gee.
I think it will be a good song of SNSD ^^ I like it.

[News/Streaming Video] Tohoshinki at Kohaku

Most people knew by now that TVXQ / DBSK was going to perform at Kohaku and what a great honor it was. Well they finally performed and it was Sugoi.

They were briefly interviewed and the male announcer even said Thank You in Korean. They had a brief performance of "Purple Line" and then a full performance of "Doushite kimi o suki ni natte shimatandarou?".

[News] DBSK’s Goodbye stage @ 2008 SBS Gayo Daejeon

DBSK wrapped up their 4th Korean album promotions with performances at the 2008 SBS Gayo Daejeon on the 29th. Junsu performed “My Everything” in a piano battle with Taeyang, and Yunho participated in a dance battle with Shinee’s Taemin, 2PM’s Jaebum, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, and Big Bang’s Seungri. The group then performed “Wrong Number” and “MIROTIC”, surprising fans with an unexpected ending to their MIROTIC activities.

[News] Teaser video “Gee” release on Jan 2nd

Popular 9 member girl group SNSD will reveal the new music video teaser on January 2nd. The teaser can will be posted on www.girlsgeneration.com as well as through various other video sites.

On 31st SM Entertainment said “This teaser video announces the comeback of SNSD and the concept is ‘Awakening’. The 25 second video will feature SNSD members as mannequins in display window then slowly awakening.”

“The Gee posters revealed on 26th have been smash hit with posters running out as people collected them. This teaser video will also excite the fans as it features the pure and bright charms of SNSD members”

This teaser video will be released on the official homepage of SNSD(www.girlsgeneration.com) and also on major portals such as Naver, Daum, Cyworld, MNcast.

SNSD will release the mini album Gee on January 7th.

[News] SHINee Becomes Disciple Of [C-Are-Us]

Calling out to their fans to donate the money that they use to buy presents for them to charity instead.

Korean young boy group [SHINee] came to Taiwan for a speedy 45 hours, in which they rushed notices nonstop, and even went to Guang Fu Nan Road's C-Are-Us''s bakery to volunteer. The 5 big boys were split into 3 groups, some made bread, some arranged the products on display, while members Jonghyun and Almighty Key who have learnt Chinese before were stationed at the cashier counter, shouting "Welcome!" in Chinese. Almighty Key operated the cash register under the guidance of the shop assistants but accidentally keyed in "40" instead of "44" which prompted Jonghyun to instantly correct him in Chinese saying "It's 44!", showing how scared they are about making money losses.

SHINee, whose average age is 17 years old, may be young, but they all have a loving heart, and even volunteered at C-Are-Us's bakery on christmas. They said "This is the most meaningful christmas." At the same time, they also called out to their fans to donate the money that they use to buy presents for them to charity instead.

The 5 of them were caught in a mad rush. Jonghyun and Almighty Key were the cashiers and spoke Chinese throughout while using gestures animatedly to settle the bill for the customers; Taemin who is the youngest became the disciple of C-Are-Us, and was in the kitchen learning how to make red bean buns. He saidly shyly "This is my [first bun experience], my teacher is really great, he can just make a very pretty shaped bun effortlessly, the buns that I baked will definitely be shapeless."

It's New Year tomorrow and they do not forget to wish the Taiwanese fans as well. "We wish everyone Happy New Year. We are thankful to our fans for their support all the way, and we will work even harder to present a new Shining SHINee to repay everyone."

[News] DBSK and Big Bang receive honours from Ministry of Culture and Tourism

2 of the biggest Kpop groups Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang has been presented the commendatory award by the Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

[News] Yoona wins 2008 KBS New Actress and Netizens Awards

Congratulations YoonA!

On Dec 31st at 2008 KBS Drama awards , Yoona received the honor of New Actress Award.

Yoona sai "I would like to thank the director and all the staff. I will continue to do my best. I would also like to thank all the family at SM."


As member of group SNSD, Yoona starred as the main character of “You are my destiny”. As her first starring role, there were worries of her acting skill but as time passed she proved herself as a dependable actor.

Kang JiHwan and Yoona have won the Netizen Awards at the 2008 KBS Drama Awards.

Kang JiHwan starred in "KwaeDo HongGilDong" and was also busy shooting the film "Movies are movies"

Already having won the New Actress Award for “You are my destiny”, Yoona said “I have much to improve as an actress and it’s a great honor to receive this big award. I will do my best to try to become a better actress”

[News] SNSD Sunny Hospitalized

Korean Idol SNSD has recently announced their comeback and returned to the live stages once again with Kissing You live performances to help promote their comeback.

It seems the work has been too hatic for one member in Particular, Lee Sunny, niece music mobile Lee Soo Man. Earlier this year she canceled some solo performances due to an injured back. Just yesteday she finally collapsed in her dressing room and was taken to the hospital.

According to some bystanders, Sunny collapsed in her dressing after SNSD's peformances on MBC. She was then carried out by MBC staff and taken to the hospital.

No words from doctors except the reason of her collapsing being too much exhaustion.

SNSD is still schedule to cometinue their live stage performances. It is still unknown if Sunny has been released or would join the other girls on stage.
