Super Junior and DBSK’s ‘juniors’ SHINee arrived in Taiwan for the first time, wearing halos after recently winning 2008 Korea’s Best Newcomers. The whole group revealed that they are all innocent virgins, who have not yet been in any relationships. Yesterday on Christmas day, they still had to work, and feeling lonely, they could not help but reveal their ideal girlfriends.
As soon as SHINee debuted in the industry, they immediately became red-hot popular amongst younger girls, and have successfully gone for a different route to their seniors. Currently, the age of the 5 members range from 15 – 19 years old. Have they ever been in an older-girl-younger-guy relationship? All of them shook their head, saying: “No, we haven’t dated at all.” Talking about their ideal girlfriends, the 5 immediately revealed their own conditions. Group leader Onew said: “I hope I can meet someone where the feeling is right.” Taemin said he wants to find a “caring and pretty girl.” Jonghyun and Minho place great importance on “pure and able to communicate through minds,” and KEY hopes his other half will be ‘honest and not pay too much attention to little things.”
The members of SHINee were also chosen based on dance skills, and yesterday they specially appeared on show ‘Dance Flow’. Matching with their hit songs ‘Amigo’ and ‘Sister Beauty’, their singing and dancing displayed the kind of ‘‘ice-skating dance’ that young Koreans will fight to imitate. The fans in the audience screamed non-stop and their voice carried throughout the whole studio. After this whirlwhind visit to Taiwan for 45 hours, SHINee will leave Taiwan this morning at 8am.
